I am a 24-year-old Elite Woman & colligate BMXer with a passion for all forms of cycling. I have been racing BMX since the age of 5 and have fallen in love with the sport and lifestyle of BMX.
Starting at 5 years old I was at the bmx track to play in the dirt and eat some candy. As time progressed I got more serious about performing well to keep up with my older brother, Ryan Armstrong. My brother is 7 years older, so this was a tall task. This dedicated progression helped form the rider I am today and what lead me into the national levels of bmx.
Unlike many others, my national career started later in my teen years. In 2013 my national career began; it was a success taking home a National Age Group #1 and #3 while making many national main events throughout the first season. From this point onward, I have been able to accomplish 4 World titles, 2 National titles and numerous NAG #1 titles. In 2021, I signed my Elite Woman license which was a dream come true.
In my rookie pro year I took home a win in the Elite Woman class, along with a handful of podiums while battling with Olympians and world-class riders. Through this successful year, I was nominated for the top 5 rookie pros for the year.
During this process, I was also working towards a bachelor’s degree at Marian University. I currently hold a dual degree in Finance and Management which I graduated from in May 2022.
